Shaping our future Lavington Swim Centre!
We're excited to announce plans to redevelop the much-loved Lavington Swim Centre with modern aquatic facilities to better serve our community's needs.
The Lavington Swim Centre has been a local favourite since 1967, but its pools are now showing their age and need replacing to ensure they can continue to be a hub for our community in the years to come.
Following community consultation in 2024, where residents shared how they use the swim centre and what features they’d like in a modernised facility, AlburyCity has developed draft concept designs in collaboration with architectural and design practice Canvas Projects.
