The commercial activities planned for the new Albury Riverside Precinct will enhance the city's lifestyle offering for both locals and visitors, ensuring all will have access to the precinct’s seasonal food and beverage offering.

This Expression of Interest is for vendors carrying out the retail sale of food, drinks and related products on public land or road from a mobile outlet such as a food truck, van, cart, or other similar vehicle. Special considerations should be made around preservation of the natural area surrounding the trading area, trader and patron security time of trade and outdoor dining. The EOI and contract itself should be treated as a 6-month trial and reviewed accordingly.

AlburyCity will award contracts for two successful vendors based on eligibility, availability to trade, product/service suitability and contract fee offer.

Outdoor dining restrictions

Due to the preservation of the site and patron security around roads, there is no provision for outdoor dining options.

Power and site (provided by AlburyCity)

Access to three-phase 15Amp electrical power is available. There is no additional charge for power, however, the successful vendors must supply their own power boards and extension cords of at least 30 metres in length, tested and tagged in accordance with Council requirements.

Promotion and marketing

All promotion and marketing must be undertaken by the vendor. AlburyCity will not promote the vendor.

Security

Vendors are responsible for the safety and security of their staff and patrons whilst operating.

Accessibility

The vendor needs to be a mobile trade and their food trucks/stalls cannot stay on site overnight. The Vendor also needs to supply own power leads.

Sustainability practices

Vendors must dispose of waste material and rubbish in a responsible manner offsite.

Vendors must adhere to the guidelines of the AlburyCity Single Use Plastic Policy.

Special Consideration

AlburyCity Community Wood Fire Oven will also be operating every two weeks on Sunday between the times of 3pm to 8pm during daylight savings.
