We worked with Lyall & Associates, a specialist consulting firm with expertise in flood and water management, to complete a comprehensive review of flood behaviour in the Eight Mile Creek and adjoining Sandy Creek catchments (the Study Area).
The draft Eight Mile Creek Flood Study Review is a technical document which updates previous flood studies using sophisticated computer modelling and includes information on the where flooding occurs, how deep floodwaters may be and how fast they may flow.
This updated flood information will support future planning, infrastructure delivery and emergency management, helping to protect life and property from the impacts of flooding, whenever possible.
