Council Endorses Leasing and Licensing of Council Property
Following the Council Meeting on Tuesday 10 June 2025, Council endorsed the draft Leasing and Licensing of Council Property Policy. This policy sets out the principles and procedures that guide Council in the responsible acquisition and disposal of land to support community, operational and strategic outcomes.
We've updated our policy to guide how we lease and licence Council land, ensuring transparency, fairness, and alignment with community needs. This policy sets out key principles, including due diligence, risk assessment, equitable access and value for money, to support responsible decision-making.
