Introduction

Council’s priority is making sure the Albury Local Government Area (the Albury community – which includes the suburbs of Albury Central/East/North/South/West, Glenroy-Hamilton Valley, Lavington, Splitters Creek, Springdale Heights, and Thurgoona-Wirlinga) is a safe place for everyone to live, work and visit.

A safe neighbourhood is one where people feel secure in their homes, on their street and in public spaces. It’s a place where crime rates are low, people look out for one another, and the environment is designed to be inclusive, safe and accessible.

To support this, AlburyCity is developing a five-year Community Safety Plan. We’d like to hear your thoughts and ideas on how we can work together to make our community safer and stronger.

Please share your thoughts via the options below by 5PM Wednesday 17 September 2025.
